Nexera™ LX Tungsten Wash

The Nexera™LX Wash is an efficient wash light with a built in color changer. For completely silent operation – meaning absolutely no fans – the fixture uses glass filters for color mixing.

This model of the Nexera™ uses an easily obtained standard set of dimmer-friendly 575 Watt lamps. The optical design for this fixture started with the filament size for this lamp family. We decided to offer a power rating of only 575W because the increase in filament size and decrease in efficiency wasn't worth the additional power consumption.

The reflective mirror, designed just for the source, is coated with a cold mirror so the beam is cooler maing it easier for the people onstage with not as much heat in the beam.

We designed this fixture with an adjustable beam-width so you can pick the exact coverage you need. It is easily adjusted with a single knob on the side of the fixture.

A virtually limitless palette of colors can be produced by mixing the fixture's Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow filters. The color spectrum of the filters has been designed to give the widest possible gamut of colors while balancing efficiency for high output.

The dichroic glass filters must pass two inspections. Once we receive them, we check to make sure they fit into our rigorous tolerances. The after the Nexera™ has been assembled, the filters are checked and adjusted automatically using a precise color camera to ensure that the colors match from fixture to fixture. This way we can assure you that if you buy Nexeras™ today, they will match what we built five years ago – and the ones we'll build five years from today.

Precise manufacturing leads to the excellent optics in this fixture.. Every mechanical part is machined in our factory using the latest NC machining techniques. And we rigorously inspect the incoming optical parts, reflectors, lenses, and color filters.
