NexeraLX is an RDM-compatible incandescent fixture with a dichroic CMY color changer. Color consistency over time is assured, because the glass filters will not fade with heat or age. The chosen color is easily selected using any two of the three DMX control channels. Color fades are gracefully accomplished with your choice of color path from one color to the next.
The Wash Light was designed with efficiency in mind. Using a 575 watt bulb, the output is over 8000 Lumens. Changing the beam angle is done by moving the 6" fresnel lens to optimize output over the range of beam shaping. To maintain a cool beam, a dichroic reflector is used to absorb most of the infrared.
Convection cooling is used throughout the entire family, meaning no fan(s) for absolutely silent scenes. When the color needs to change, the precision mechanism designed for quiet movement ensures the audience will never hear your light cues.
For extremely long lamp life applications, Nexeras are also available with a CDM lamp, ballast and mechanical dimmer. All CDM Nexeras have a 5-year warranty on the Aromat ballast.
All Nexeras use the same family of PS Power Supplies in 150, 300, or 600 watts. These RDM compatible power supplies provide power and signal to each head in one combined cable for ease of wiring. Each head has an in and out for daisy chaining together and for making setup easier. Complete diagnostic information is available delivered to your laptop in real time.
